It's amazing what a shallow depth of field does to a mini, it really does make it look like a toy! Beautiful car though & nice photos too, I like how it really draws to the tiny details like the grill and the headlight glass moulding. |

Beautiful car though & nice photos too, I like how it really draws to the tiny details like the grill and the headlight glass moulding. It also looks like there has been some selective sharpening and unsharpening on a couple of shots which really makes the car pop out of the background. It is neatly done (i.e. not overdone) and I would agree that they are nice photos. |

Car looks great, I am not trying to be picky, But I see it has an early Cooper front chrome strip on one side and a later one on the other side ( stainless steel wheel arch Moulds ) |

That explains why they're two totally different lengths. |

I can see many faults, both with the car and restoration but it is going, on the road and looking pretty nice. Al |

Same colour paint and same trim as my dads long gone Austin 970S. I love the trim in those . Anyone know what colour it is ? Was there such a colour as delphinium blue ? |

The colour is Surf Blue with an Old English White roof, standard colour schemes for UK built Cooper's and Super's from that era. Al |

lovely little car - I just thought they could have wiped the oil off the rocker cover... even I'd give that a quick wipe over |

Yeah, I noticed that too Simon. Easy enough to fix, wonder why it hasn't been. Al |

I would be more concerned by the fact this shell has the holes for interior light switches....something 1071's did not have. It is a really nice car and I love the colour, any 1071 is rare but this car is super special! |
