Hi,

Does anyone know what the thread size is for the sender screws on a van tank?

Some clever cloggs lost our screws.

Cheers,

I think I have some spare - will look tomorrow. Never know what might leap out of the shed in the dark :)

Cheers, Ian

I could be wrong but they look just like the screws that screw down the float bowl on an SU.

I pulled the fuel tank out of the moke the other day

Hi,

They are not the same as the SU float bowl screws. Or the roundie tail lights.

Ian, if you have some lying around, that would be great.

Also we are looking for a few of the plastic posts that the large screws go through to secure the tank to the bodyshell.

Cheers,

I know you are looking for donations but thought the above might assist in the search.

Hi Brett, Yes, I have 6 screws and the little brass washers.

And probably the nylon plugs as well. They come from my Traveller tank so I'm assuming they're the same. The look like the float bowl items but are a bit longer with posidrive heads.

I suppose I could swap them for something useful - like a spare Trav shell :)

Send me a PM with your address (Again :). What's the required time scale??

Cheers, Ian
