Brake pedal won't spring back up , brakes still work , wot u all think?

Take a look under the pedal box, there's a large wire wound spring which pulls the pedals back up.

Look at how the working clutch pedal is sprung, it is the same for the brake pedal.

Thats a good answer listen to Mick , mine would have been have you tried it with your foot off :-) ........ yes a naughty nonsensical monty pythonesque post but its saturday and i have a bottle of wild turkey to tame :-)

I've got a couple of pedal boxes here where the grease on the pedal shafts is basically gone and the springs have lost their 'springyness' to the point where the pedals just stay where you put them - no cylinders connected!
