| Post subject: | Electric Fuel Pump Wires |
I've just fitted an electric fuel pump to my rear subframe. When I bought the car, the bracket was there, but the fuel pump had long since disappeared. I've just purchased a new loom from Vinwire, and the wire to run the fuel pump is in the tail light loom. Where do the wires enter the boot from the pump. I can see where the outlet and drain plug from the fuel tank, but can't see anything for the ful pump wires. Cheers, James. |

From memory (it's been 30 years) on my Cooper S they went down the seat back from behind the tank, through a grommet in the boot floor not far from the fuel line. |

The fuel pump wires and in the same lot as the fuel gauge sender and they pass through the floor via the breather pipe grommet. Al |
