hi i have a hot 1160 that will get the pulsar dissy treatment. i have both the d83 and d85 pulsar dissy both modules are stuff which one shall i use ? please shed some light im a little lost on which one to keep and where to get a decent priced module thanks noobie |

If both modules are gone, I'd just get another dizzy. I realise they are probably thin on the ground over there, but surely that is less trouble. As to which I can't recall what I used on my 1293 - Drmini advised me which one. It is also important to service it greasing an internal shaft as I recall. Again, Drmini should be able to advise. If he doesn't respond here, maybe send him a PM. One of the troubles you may face is that in order to buy a module, the Nissan stealer may insist on having a VIN number "for their system!" I had a similar problem trying to buy Honda parts when the Honda dizzy was the gun mod (before the pulsar ones came along). I only had the distributor (with me as it happened) and because I didn't have the details, they were unable or unwilling to exercise their grey matter at all. |

Check with `convertible mini' (Tony) he may have a Pulsar module. I sold my last spare a while ago. The Hitachi modules are pretty reliable, I have never yet killed one. |

I have got some stock Pulsar Modules. I will need an emailed Picture for correct identification as there are a couple of different variations with these modules. And remember.... If you have a problem that is causing the modules to cook or blow, fix it first as I give you no warranty on modules sold. Some people replace a module without finding out why it blew in the first place. Electronics blow faster than a fuse. Too much current drawn by the coil and POP goes the module. |
