No sludge in mine, & only gets changed twice yearly (each 2500km). Matter of fact it's due for a change tomorrow, after a run up to Wyong and back. Rocker cover stays clean inside too, which it never did with Penrite HPR30 or 40. ![]() |

switched to GW, no sludge GW thins out in mine and drops my oil pressure.. Are there several types of their 20w50? I like them because they are cheap and changing penrite 20w60 once a month becomes expensive after a while. |

I've been using Valvoline XLD classic since the Kmart oil changed. Couldn't find any XLD. Local classic car mechanic (races triumph) suggested Caltex Havoline Premium. He and other racing guys he does work for have found it quite good. So I'm giving it a go. ![]() Anyone else tried it? |

SWEET will clean out my local Autobarn this weekend My local was out today when I went, and they "aren't getting any more in". (until next time). Bugger, I drove there and back for nothing... ![]() I hate RicerBarn now, you can't browse their store without some dude asking what you are after and what you drive etc, blah blah.... At least Repco and Supercrap leave you alone. |

We, who know exactly what we went in there for (and whose jalopies are probably not in their computer) don't need no stinkin' `customer service' ![]() |
