I wore my other supercrap compressor out finally after four years of slaving over a sandblaster. I had an intention of not replacing it until I get a proper large unit....but I just can't ignore 50 bucks. Its a shop ex-display. Missing the sump plug and air filter. I am not going to worry about the filter, and I found another plug with the same thread to keep the oil in. This will do until then. ![]() |

Hi Jim, It "Claims" 200 litres per minute free air. Not enough to run a sand blaster cabinet on it's own, but enough to use for the air tools etc that I'm using at the moment. How's your EFI? |

EFI is just purring along. I might get some time this weekend to do some work on it as young Hamish is over in the USA with his mother. The engine has decided to be incontinent and drops large puddles of oil (I think around the oil filter area) but only sometimes. I've also got some electrical noise coming from the EDIS coil pack . I'll get the oscilloscope out for this... most probably needs a capacitor on the 12V rail right near the coil pack. How did you go with the wideband AF meter? Cheers Jim ![]() |

This is totally unrelated to your original post but having a look at the photo of your S I noticed that the right hand tank has a shorter spout thing (where the petrol cap goes) no idea what its called, than the left. My S has the same and always wondered why. By the way, like the colour of the Mini, nearly identical to mine. |

Yes, I believe this is a peculiarity of at least some of the right hand tanks. I've seen it a few times before as well. I'm not sure if its the tank or the way its fitted, but the RHT someone fitted in time immemorial to my 997 Cooper does not have the same problem. |

Who's to know? At this stage I don't think so. Don't even dare to think about opening up the Darwin stubbie. They're for aesthetic use only. I'm pretty sure they will cause cancer of the stomach if you choose to drink them. |
