any one what type the mini oil filter thread is mk2 engines & A+ thread type & pitch, so i can order a remote oil filter head. i think suzuki use the same thing as well? |

Can't remember the pitch, but yes they are the same. This is from three years ago, in reference to buying ebay filters by the box load: Quote: Just as experiment, I fitted a Mini Z418 oil filter onto my son's Gti yesterday, and so fitted the Swift's Z125 onto my Mini today. Both sealed fine.
Apart from a few mm difference in height, they are interchangeable. Will be ordering a box of Z418s to use on our minis, the Swift, and the race car (also G13b powered). I like commonality & part interchangeability. |
