Post subject:  Mini Spring Technologies and shockers

I am looking at changing the donuts and shockers on the wifes daily driver.
Anyone have a contact as to where to purchase the MST springs?
What shockers are recommended for a daily driver to go with coil springs?

I'm thinking of coils as well. It seems that progressive rate springs are important rather than any old coil. I've read good things about the Huddersfield Spares springs and most recommend an adjustable ride height package with them. Also, the middle package seems to be best (standard for Huddersfield and fast road for Minitastic). The longest travel springs seem to be too soft and floaty. None of them seem to be great for extremely lowered cars either as the spring will not have enough travel. As always you get what you pay for and get the more expensive springs. There are a few Ausmini discussions about the springs. I can't find where I read it now but there was a another place that sold a spacer to use the coil package in hydro frame as well.

I don't think these are the ones mentioned earlier in this thread.

I believe the MST springs are sold direct from Japan. I also heard they were progressive whereas the minitastic ones don't seem to be.

Righto, thanks. I asked the same question in another thread (i.e. are the minitastic ones the MST ones) and again nobody was able to name a suppler of MST. Seems to be a secret for some reason, which is an interesting business model!

Heh, I'll have to take your word on it. That's kinda weird having your company name in English, but then no English option for the website?!

MST R-200 coil spring kit (spacers sold separately)

It is most suitable for the vehicle of race-oriented. It is the spring rate of 200 super hard Tatte Tsu Nante. Rear rubber spacer and front metal spacer are included. In comparison with Rabakon, safety of running the rising edge of the corner will be another dimension.
