2k would get you a scotchbrite and blow over on the outside with no dents done or anything.. Or if done right, as Harley said probably just the roof.. Nothing good in the panel industry comes cheap..

Our bottom line price for a respray is $6500. Why? To do it properly is time consuming beyond belief!

agree with that 100% theres a huge difference between cheap and expensive materials,such a difference. and the man hours are insane

From 2000 may not be a warning....just reality, if your paint and panels are AOK (and I mean AOK) and you just want a freshen up (not a "bare metal respray") then maybe someone who specialises in a particular marque can say that....

Anyone got any hard evidence of this fellas work? a real quote for work done? What was the state of the car before it went in? etc etc

For any of the VIC guys if you want an ok job at a good price there is a guy in ballarat 3p auto.speak to stewart and hes done tons of minis.pm me if you are thinking of calling him :wink:
