Post subject: | Roll Cage Fabricators Perth WA |
Hi I am looking to get into some motor sport with my Mini, looking to Motorkhana eventually, for personal peace of mind and personal safty, I would like to fit a type 2, Roll Cage as specified in Schedule J of the CAM regulations. Would anyone have any recommendations as to who to see in WA? Cheers Adam |

You really don't need a roll cage for motorkhana's, only 1st gear is ever used, but each to their own, if you want a roll cage go for it, don't expect much change out of $4000. Doogie |

Thanks for the reply doogie, i am pretty sure i will be doing other events besides motorkhana, where i do get out of 1st gear, and i fully expect it to be expensive. I was hoping someone on here could give me a recommendation? |

A full 6 point from Walker Chassis in Adelaide [ for an IPRA Race car to full Cams specs] cost $2400 ...& that was into a Honda Integra. He has Quoted $1500 for a Type 3 ROPS into the Mini...to Cams Specs . Pay more than $2000 for a Mini.... you are being ripped off. You have never seen a car roll in 1st gear at a Motorkhana, Doogie??? |

LF Performance do great work, http://www.lfperformance.com.au/ but it will cost you for something like this: ![]() ![]() ![]() There's always the option of a Bond cage for the budget end of the market. |

Just loop them over the horizontal bar behind the seat? Or is the angle or distance wrong? |

It's not mine. It belongs to Mica, one of the more serious racers over here. I'll have a look next time I see it. |
