Was looking at Halogen headlamps from some of the UK mini stockists and just wanted to know if there is anything I should look out for. IE some may not be compatible/suitable for our cars here.

Any special requirements for me to fit them. I have seen a few topics stating that I will probably need a dual fuse for the higher output.

This pair caught my eyes.

Automotive Relay 5 pin (12volt) will need 2 1 for hi's & 1 for the lo's

minisport sell a set similar with the parkers ring but there $150 seems a bit rich since those from the uk are just shy of $50 aud would probably cost about that in postage. nice find BTW as well

Watch out for the direction the lights dip. Some will be suited to RHD cars, and others left, so they dip to the outside of the road to avoid dazzling oncoming cars.

Just ask the question before you outlay your money.

Also check whether they are flat glass or curved, and plastic or glass. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes.

Are angel eyes headlamps permitted on the road here?

Anyone know of any problems with the Cibie headlamps? I saw a comparison online somewhere that showed they give a better beam than Wipac et al. Murphy's Law - now I can't find it!

And sidelights or not to sidelights?
