Just wondering on options on replacing 5/16 wheel cylinders with 1 inch wheel cylinders on a drum brake mini......
I have heard the 1 inch give better braking

There there were both 15/16" and 1" cylinders used on twin leading shoe front brakes.
1" ones will give lighter pedal pressure at the expense of a bit more pedal travel, for the same braking effort. Or more braking for the same pedal pressure as you say.

Just don't mix them up... they all need to be the same.
