Same.
Only difference was the 69 on `matic had a Mk2S speedo binnacle, with temp and oil pressure gauges.

I thought a deluxe speedo was like this? Slightly different as it has central white rings and white needles and were Smiths UK made?

That is not like any Mini K speedo I have ever seen.
Filter, Ignition, High beam and Oil light windows are not correct.
Mini K only had High beam and Ignition light Windows....
It is from 69 or 70 but is not from Mini K.....

Which would make it late Deluxe- around 1968? Would it then be correct for a 1968 `Matic?

I've just compared it with photos I have of a very original mid to late 68 mini matic and it is fitted with the same speedo.

I'll get a photo up if I get a chance.

Yes it would and early 1969 models (pre June )
I am not sure however if the RPML is the same

looking at the last photo it has a ink stamp on the back the part number is often
in that stamp I would be very interested in knowing the part number if it is possible
to read it

Wouldn't it be nice to have a detailed picture of each of the speedos used on Australian Minis/Mokes showing the model and year they were fitted to?

... or does this exist somewhere already?

The Mini King catalogue lists the parts numbers but not a picture of each.
