Spotted this on Ebay earlier. Has anybody seen one in action? Are they any good?......Or is it just rice? Point of view would be appreciated.

I think you're talking about something else. It was on ebay, a red cylindar type thing.. claimed it added whatever amounts of hp but it didn't detail how it did it. It looked really dodgy..

This one at least tells you it's powered by a 12v electric air pump, that produces 500 cfm.. It sounds feasible.. But I'm not sure how much performance it would actually add.

I did see that red cylinder thing a couple of months ago, was just wondering if this was the same story, different item.

The laws of physics state that:
Electric forms of supercharging are crap. No variable air output relative to engine RPM.
It is pure RICE. Therfore, it belongs on Hyundai's with Ralli-art stickers.
Any form of cheap, instant power gain is not possible.
Nothing is free or effectively free.
If the unit is switched off, the car will lose power according to:
Power= Price of air filter times number of carburettors divide by the number of
dodgy accessories, where dodgy accessory is equal to electric supercharger.
EG- my car has a $20 air filter, one carb and no supercharger= 40 HP
That basically means the air won't get into the engina as easily due to resistance.

:D

Here's how to check if it works.
get a vacuum cleaner hose, hook it up to the aircon vents on the daily hack, crank it to full cold and fan power and connect the other end into the carb/ throttle body.
