Mine is great, sure it has it's problems, but i've only ever had one real major problem that I couldn't fix myself on the side of the road or got home to fix..

Daily driver for 3 years, 500km's a week.. Engine is given a bit of a hard time as well ..that's why it died once..or twice

You have to do preventative maintenance though..check things and replace them..or if you know that something is going to break and you leave it long enough..be prepared for it to break..like my throttle cable once did...

If you plan on keeping the car, I like getting stuff replaced so you know the condition of it later down the track like "oh yea i replaced all that back in..."

Chris that's why you get a clubby, they're the younger prettier late 20 year old's with less mileage ;)

It's a Mini we all get unexpected faults with them.

On my way home form the Muster Mine stopped all of a sudden and then I heard the fuel pump pumping madly and I thught it was stuffed.

But no the fuel tank had gotten a vacum seal and the Breather for the tank was blocked so I changed filler cpas from one side to the other and all was ok.
