I was doing some searching online on Mini.Matic stuff and stumbled across an article written by Clyde Hodgins. It talked about the Caltex Mini Monte Rally where Clyde drove the only Mini.Matic in the rally. I would like to see if I can ask him some questions about his experiences with Mini.Matics. I am not sure who Clyde Hodgins is but I know very well one other person mentioned in the article, namely Dave Potter, who at the time was a BMC dealer in Adelaide. The Cooper S he was driving at the time is still in his possession. I had the pleasure of driving it in the 2011 Bay to Birdswood Rally |

I have just found an article that is titled: Rally as memorial to Clyde Hodgins. http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1 ... 06,1533279 Clyde passed away in 1971. I am still keen to see if I can find pictures of his car. |
