Are there specific areas that under body sound deadener was applied or excluded from? |

It was pretty much applied stem to stern, including the wheel arches. But not that vertical face of the sills (below the chrome strip). Was done before subframes were fitted. |

cheers, I assume the tunnel was also done then. How far up in the fire wall did it go, under the steering rack mount or under the bulk head |

Up to the underside of bulkhead I think. |

Was it painted body colour or natural grey/black? |

It was body coloured, there was a certain brand used, and gives the smoothish leathery finish, not the crap that you see applied to that looks a bit like stucco. |

This is good stuff, if it holds rusty UK mini's together it must be. I used it on mine, sticks like sh*t and tough. Plus you can paint straight over it, don't overdo the paint but, otherwise the paint will chip off tex coat. http://www.hex.co.uk/tds/upol/gravitex.pdf |
