Post subject:  took the mini for a spin in the hills today
..and it was awesome fun!

Went out with dad today to the shops and stuff and I made him let me go up into the hills for a cruize, it was hell good fun. My dad was loving it and we got to a T-intersection thing and he told me to go dow that road, it was the corkscrew road or something, it was so bendy - so much fun!

Also i realised how crap my brakes actually are after going down this safe straight went a bit fast then had to brake before the corner at the end and only just got slow enough, i know how crap my brakes are now, you wont see me tail-gating any one..ever or being close at all especially when doing like over 80. So yer it was fun and i thought 'd tell u guys.

Also today i bought a air-horn for my car. its a must! :P :lol:

Make sure you hide em and run em off a hidden switch...... before the cops defect you for em :lol: Its true!!!

Legal in NSW, except the music tune ones.. :wink:
My Fiat 124S had them stock, now they are on the Mini and they pass rego every year, no problem! 8)

we came up corkscrew road on the mini cruise last weekend.

i was coming out of the hairpins (VERY TIGHT) sideways and losing traction through all of first gear :lol:

can't do that anymore tho. new tyres :evil:

our friend in adelaides mate killed himself in a mini on the corkscrew road, he flipped it, it was a mk1 cooper s!!! :cry:

No Dr Knit, they were on my immaculate 1979 corolla... back in the day. It got defected for 1: Air horns, 2: Oil ON the motor (even though it did not leak any oil, I was told to have it degreased) They could not get it for anything else because it was as stock as a rock.

As if... Air horn kits are walking out the door at your local NSW Big W or Supercheap store by the truck load :shock: :?


Supercharged 850: NSW or Adelaide defect? What year was this? Have the laws changed?
