I am wanting to change out my old rusty extractors for a set of maniflow ones. Do I need to take the engine out or can I wiggle them in if I just tilt it a bit?

Can be done in car no problems. Beware that some stock intake manifolds will not go over the maniflo extractors.

Also changing the extractors may mean changing your exhaust pipe to match the diameter of the Y piece at the bottom all the way to the back, which if they don't match may mean an entirely new exhaust system...

I recommend you put some nickel anti-seize compound inside the Maniflow Y piece (if it's an LCB). One of my pipes rusted in there, eventually Mr Anglegrinder had to help in removal and Mr MIG in reclaiming them.

Disconnecting the engine steady may allow a little more room to work....

Awesome! Happy to hear it can be done without removing the engine. Thanks for the tip about the anti seize compound. I will get some today
