Would any one on here know the current formula for 61 BMC Inca Yellow????

The Old BMC formula's can not be mixed with the current paint tint's (so we are told)....Our paint man has tried but get everything but.

Any help would be fantastic.

I had the same trouble with a specialized auto paint supplier. I ended up at a dulux paint shop and they had the original BMC colour charts and said they could do any of them. Maybe worth a try?

I use BASLAC (BASF) family and have painted a complete car in Inca Yellow. The BASLAC code for topcoat 30 (single stage) is FAB or BLVC 207.

The mix can be done in THREE variations in either 'standard', 'darker and red ' and 'green'.

The formula is listed as 'Morris 1976-1981' so not sure how accurate if done in the 1960's.

I have the tinter mix but it would only relate to the BASLAC range if you need it.

Thank you to "Clovus & Mini Dave"

We have tracked down A paint shop that does BASF Products in Shepparton...Have spoken to the person there, and if we dope of the Boot lid as a sample he feels confidant that he will be able to match the paint colour.
Thank you again .
