I presume any mini can fit either a small tank or a large tank... What will be required to bin my 5.5 gallon and install a 7.5 gallon? |

1x Bin. 1x 5.5 gallon tank. 1x 7.5 gallon tank. ![]() I think they take a different strap? Can't remember off the top of my head. |

The 7.5 uses the same strap as the5.5 but there is a 10 gallon one as well which uses a diagonal strap across the back of it to stop it moving about. I have one 10 gallon one here but no strap so can't instal it. Will have to make one eventually ![]() Hooroo |

The 7.5 gallon tank uses a diagonal strap - there is an extra bracket in the boot for these cars (UK)... However the original 5.5 gallon strap still works with the 7.5... So yep - take one out - put the other in.... |

Never heard of three tank sizes, only ever known about the imperial 5 and 7.5 gal tanks. A US 10 gal tank s pretty much the same as a UK 7.5 gal tank. Are we sure there's no mix ups? |

You could fit a RH tank instead, either steel, or the aftermarket plastik fantastik one. |

Got the two side by side and one is bigger than the other. Bought it at a swap meet in goulburn many moons ago and has a relief in the bottom to fit over the battery cover. It may have had a patch put in it but I am not stripping the paint to check. ![]() Just bought a plastic RH tank on fleabay so will have to punch a hole in the other side to fit. Does anyone have a definitive way to make the template for drilling a hole? Hooroo |
