I have a four syncro remote gearbox housing, and gear set. It has a couple of damaged gears (snapped off teeth) on the laygear and on the 2nd or 3rd gear. Anyway can I fit a complete gear set from a four syncro rod change gearbox into the remote housing? Are parts (gears) interchangeable? |

All will fit, except reverse. It has the same tooth count but the fork slot is in a different place, so use your old one. |

That's good news. Where from and what brands are best for box bearings and thrust washers etc? |

Where from and what brands are best for box bearings and thrust washers etc? If you want all the gearbox bearings Karcraft does a kit, with or without the 2 diff ones. It saves you a few bucks. Likewise they have the copper and (correct thickness) fibre washers for the diff. |

None internally. But the 2 side cover bushes are probably worn as usual, I would fit new ones. Note these need machining to size after press fitting- boring them in a lathe is the best method, IMO. |
