Guys

Can anyone help moreso with where to source these flares. I think they are group 2 wides but looked at karcraft today and their group 2 wides were not like these. The fronts were close but as apposed to normal flares where the fronts are a bit bigger than the rears, these look similar front to rear.

Any ideas on who would have them locally would be great - even on minispares site the have pictures of them on there own and not on a car

Thanks

Matt

They look like group 2 race flairs. I have them on my mini. I bought mine from minisport UK.

If you buy them locally there would maybe be 1 or 2 shops that would have them or something similar and be prepared to pay LOTS LOTS more.

its not the size 6 or 7 inch but the offset could be -7 on a 6 inch rim

Thanks Ash - would be interested to see yours when they arrive. Bubba was ready to order them and then I found this post on another forum which shows a group 6 from Huddersfield - now I'm even more confused

I got 10x6 ultralights (wheels) and I needed group 2 race to cover the wheels, because of the offset.

copied from here: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/tec ... techid=101

The offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. The offset can be one of three types (measured in millimeters).*

Zero Offset

The hub mounting surface is even with the centerline of the wheel.

Positive

The hub mounting surface is toward the front or wheel side of the wheel.

Negative

The hub mounting surface is toward the back or brake side of the wheels centerline. "Deep dish" wheels are typically a negative offset.

hope this kinda helps, i know that working out offset is quite confussing when trying to workout how much out the gaurd the wheel will stick out to the flare size you need. i know minisport tell you on bigger rims which size flares you need to keep within legal boundrys on some of there rims
