I have a good friend heading up to Cairns with her surf blue Mini K. The car is on the truck as we speak, and last I heard she had a loss of one cylinder, probably due to sooting the plugs, but she had a head changed out recently and she might have a low cylinder... She usually relied on her father to keep the mini is shape. So I can set her on the right path, who are the local mini or BMC friendly guys around Cairns? Say Hi if you see her. Cheers (The dent is gone now, she had the car sprayed)

Thanks for you kind comments Ty and Grant, yep be happy to have a look at it for her. There are a couple of businesses in Cairns that did work on minis a few years back but these have migrated to other cars now (to survive) and now do little work on minis, sprites etc. Not having a go at any of them but people who did have work done there were very unhappy with the cost and quality of work. If I can't help her out, then I know of another retired gentleman (just like my good self now) who will not rip her off. PM sent Mick with contact details. Steve |
