Noob question, can anyone show me a pic of where is an appropriate place to plumb in my gauge on the engine block 1100s and the correct fitting, l would rather not use the sump. Thanks for any help.

Those 2 pics ^^ are oil pressure lines, he wants oil TEMP.
I would put it on the block to filter oil line somehow, just make up a brass fitting.
