Its a UK Austin/Rover Mini with an Australian ID plate attached to the firewall. Don't think that is very legal, the words " Re Birth " come to mind. Could turn out to be very big headache for the potential buyer. Cheers Pete |

There was a local mini specialist doing that sort of thing,,, pommy mini with aust body plate. Not nice. |

Nice car though, and not bad if you could get it for the starting price. I wouldn't tell anyone if you dont. 
Sure the Police would not know the difference, but I wouldn't risk it though

Aren't they concessional/club/vintage/classic car number plates? If so, does that mean a car club (and not necessarily QMCC?) has seen/inspected/approved this car for vintage/classic/concessional rego? |

Yes concessional rego by the looks of it. Now who was doing the checks for the Mini Club. Was it a bloke who actually imported Jap minis? I smell a rat. |

The funny thing is it still has its original body plate from the early 80s on the slam panel!
