Greetings all. The original Carbies have a little bulb and metal capillary tube which went to the distributor vacuum advance thingo. As it was bent all over the place, I can't work out it's proper "Path". It has a saddle clip which (by size) must sit under the water tap nut. Can anyone post a side on picture of how this is positioned please? Also, can these be bought new anywhere? I like the original look. Cheers Alex |

Hi Alex If it's the one I'm thinking of, it goes from the carby to the distributore and the saddle clip is bolted onto the thermostat cover. I don't have a photo of the position of the pipe but here's a link to where you can buy one. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Advance-Reta ... 821wt_1161 Cheers Dave |

I agree with waldo, that's where my 850 had it. |

Thanks Dave & Doc. The links the one I need. This one is too bent to recover. I can go plastic, but the metal does look better. Cheers Alex. |
