Does anyone know if 1978 1275 LS, in Hi Ho Silver KAE 883 (Vin XNF AD 18Y 105048) still exists. I sold it in 1995 and did see one question on the Chat Line asking if the rego number was the original.

According to TME No 12, page 7 this vehicle was stolen in May 2007.

My very late (4th last built) 78 1275LS was original rego KCO 222 so KAE 883 sounds like the original plates.

I tracked mine down but it wasn't a very happy ending,see http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=59105&highlight=last+1275

Many thanks for your prompt answers. I do get The Mini/BMC Experience but have missed that announcement. I have been looking at every advertisment for a Hi Ho Silver 1275 LS for a while, perhaps hoping to buy it back and now devastated that it probably no longer exists. Now past history but KAE 883 was the original plate as I was the second owner. I sold it to Michael in Strathfield in 1995.
As I am new to this forum, not too sure what to do with smilies & options.
