hi all, where do you guys get your paint supplies from. can you get paint matched and put into proper spray cans as im after some to touch up the inside of boot, front valence etc. or am I best of buying the paint and mixing myself. what are your thoughts?? are the colours easy to match, mine is 68 mini deluxe, it says on bulk head 1/neutral grey/2

Your best bet is to actually take a panel of your mini and they will scan it to get mix correct. Being a 68 if the paint is original chances are its really faded. They will be able to mix it inti a spray can aswell. But as with anything they cant guarantee a perfect match.

I use protec paint over here in wa. Really good blokes to get info from too

Most good parts shops that mix paint can mix touch up tins and spray cans.

Nathan at Autopower Car Paint in Balcatta will computer match and put into rattle can. He can be a little grumpy sometimes but he is very helpful, knowledgable and willing to give novices like me advise on painting. If colour matching he will ask you to leave a panel with him and he will get back to you in a day or two but if you turn up in the car and push him a little he will do it on the spot (hence can be a little grumpy).
