Hi,

Would love to hear people's opinions on which colour they prefer, I'm aware the wheels are originally painted Grey but I love the old English white look too 8) ! Which do you prefer on a Jet Red car!

I've had both. But I'm partial to grey because they don't get so dirty!

Australian car = Silver Birch Metallic.
UK car = Old English White.

For some reason it looks right that way!

I like the look of polished steel rims with polished center cap then make it really stand out with white walls

I got a can of Silver Birch mixed up at a local automotive paint supplier, it was a very good match for the original colour and sprayed on fantastically well. It cost a bit more than the standard hardware shop pressure packs but it was top quality paint.

I had OEW S wheels on my Castrol Green Mini back in the 60s, and they looked great.
However, on a Jet Red car (like mine is too) I would paint them black. Or leave them silver.
