I need new wiper wheel boxes for my 1969 mini deluxe, my old ones have 32 teeth, are these the ones I'm looking for? They look a bit different to what I remember. http://www.minispares.com/product/Classic/Grilles_Brightwork/Wipers/37H7200.aspx?1605&ReturnUrl=/search/classic/Wiper%20wheel%20box.aspx|Back%20to%20search

Sorry Lindsay, I missed your post.

The later wheel boxes like the one above switched to 22 teeth early in the 70s. This would mean your window wipers would scribe a much larger arc (32/22 = 1.45 times the original arc).

Also you would need ot modify your existing wiper assembly because the tubes need to be different lengths. The old wiper wheel boxes are different in size to the new.

Miniking used to re-bush the original wheel boxes, it might be worth talking to John Schmidt.

cheers

Mick
