Hi all

I started to put my wiper assembly back in the car I've got the rack back in the car and I've got the little locating lugs on wheel box in the cut outs on the body but once I put the chrome bezel around it , there isn't enough thread to put the nut on ,
should I just take some metal off the bottom of the bezel ?
Anyone else had a problem with a kit like this ?

Those chrome bezels are made for UK cars. They will also fit fine on Oz Minis 1961-1968, but not the 1968-1978 ones which have the later wiper setup (LH park, recesses in the scuttle panel) because the angle is different.
If you contact Mini King they have new bezels (aka wiper thingys) for the later cars. They are not Bling, but are black like the originals. Machined here from HDPE plastic.

Some folks hack the UK bezels to fit late cars, but they are a smaller diameter and don't cover the holes in the late scuttle properly.

I had the same problem, until I realised I was trying to install them back to front. Worth a try?
