So i need to replace the wheel cylinders in the front left drum of my clubby (1975)

does anyone know if I need 1" bore or 15/16" bore cylinders? would it marked somewhere on the cylinder to check?
Whats the difference anyway?

Thanks

Measure the diameter of one of the pistons. Buy 4 of the same size you have now.
If you change size, you will need to file the mounting holes in the backplate to fit as they are slightly different. But it's not a big deal if you have to.
Refer recent thread here on the same subject.

Thanks Doc,

I should have searched initially, just being slack i guess.

I sounds like leyland changed from 1" to 15/16" in around 1974.
so i guess i'll probably need the 15/16" size

Karcraft sells both sizes I think. I'd measure yours to be sure...

Yeah that was my thread i think Doc and i had to file my back plates " very easy to do " , .

Thorlek as doc mentioned Karcraft have both sizes just ring and ask them which ones you need they will know. Very fast delivery and great prices.

Cheers Bill
