Post subject:  minimatic gearbox rebuild

hi iam new to the forum so if i make any mistakes please push me in the right direction My daughter has a 69 minimatic which she has had for about 5years the gear box gets a bit cranky seems to have a mind of its own so it might be time for a rebuild is there still anyone around that know how to rebuild them any advice would be great cheers john

Put some fresh oil in it and a new filter, use mineral based oil 15w-40 weight oil

as soon as the oil gets dirty, new oil & filter

Yes Greig rebuilds them, including Rover ones.
