Got up this morning and the weather was great, so i spent a few hours washing, polishing and vacuuming the mini, then gave all mechanicals a quick lookover and checked fluids.
took this at about 11 oclock today..

Image

It was such a nice day and the car was looking great so i though i would go for a nice drive, fill it up with petrol ect.

i was in the left lane here:

Image

when someone in the right lane slowed down and stopped to turn right, and the person behind them darted out, without looking and unfortunatly there was no where else for me to go!

Image

contacted shannons and now need to get a quote, any recomendations in east suburbs melbourne?

drive safe people!

Wow...Such a pity. I do feel sorry for you. I swear all the people round where i live are maniacs. They pay no attention to the symbols on the road or the car parks, don't check to see if anybody's coming when they want to turn out of somewhere and cut us off! Still, good luck to you in the future. Hope it doesn't happen again.

Such a nice looking Clubby, looks like a pretty easy fix. All the best.

Ash.

Wow that must have sucked. You can consider yourself safe when i get my license. My first car will be a clubby. As long as you're in a mini as well i'll be sure to be nice :)

Geeez that sucks, sorry to read this!

I have heard good things about Shannon's claims before, so hope it goes well (and quick!) for you.

Mate that sucks. I hope it's not too bad.
I have seen some very good jobs and heard very good reports from Stylerod Panels in Kilsyth. (were in Croydon).
They are still real panel beaters not just an insurance repair shop.
Ballistic had his car repaired by them after he was tee boned and was very happy with the end result. I think he was also with Shannons.
Good luck and don't stress about it too much, it will all work out in the end.

Thanks for the suggestion s-c1293. i just checked out their FB page, some impressive machines there!
i will head down there tomorrow and ask them to have a look.

brett, as soon as it happend and i went up her a$$, i was so worried that i would somehow be blamed for it just because i was a p-plater! its the first accident ive ever been involved in.

luckily a few people stopped and gave me there details as witnesses!

Spewing mate.
Yay for insurance though.
Smooth travelling - Shannons were good for me, albeit with a rubbish assessor when I had damage on my daily XR6T Ute I needed repaired.
