Annoyance strikes again!

Cleaning up spark plugs, notice plug number 2 covered in oil, all the others are dry and a bit sooty... black oil indicitive of busted stem seal or...? What else could be causing it?

Cheers,
Matt

Bad rings, worn valve guide, crook plug lead, busted or hardened valve stem seal (if fitted- most 202 heads didn't have em).

Plug leads and cap, check that first. Check plug gap. Swap dirty plug to another cylinder and run a clean plug from that cylinder on this one and see if it repeats. Then pull head off if still oily

Oil control ring and compression rings two different things, maybe one dodgy oil ring? I remember having to align the ring open ends to oposing sides of the piston, was this done? Just a thought
