Hi all, It's time to spray my 1974 clubman and I'm interested to hear if anyone has a recommended painter in the Mornington, Victoria area. Also, I'm keen to keep it the original Scarlet O'Hara colour. Is this colour easy to match? Cheers, David |

Scarlet O'Hara is a weird colour, it seems to fade very badly. When my moke was resprayed it was supposed to be mixed from the original formula, but I think they matched it off a faded section instead because it looks orange now. Tim |

Scarlet O'Hara is pretty much the same shade as Jet Red. Ford's `Red Flame' is the touchup can for both. I agree with Tim's comment, Jet Red acrylic fades bad too. However if you redo it in 2 pack I would expect it to last better. |

I work in mornington - my boss and I only use European auto repairs for our stuff, though they've not had a whole mini to do from me. I hear good stuff about BDS panels too. Thing is with old cars though, its more a case of who will do it more than who do you want to do it? |
