Hi Folks I have imported my mini from the UK but having some trouble getting the Roadworthy. It has failed on an oil leak (well, it is a mini) and the rear subframe has some rust. I don't have all my tools or a garage to sort these issues out so need a mini friendly workshop to do the work for me. Anyone have any recommendations for places in and around Melbourne? Cheers Darren |

Maybe because its the first time it's been on the road over here they are been extra strict? Back in the UK I had to get it an MOT (UK Roadworthy) every year. I was surprised to learn I don't need to here in Victoria. Here are a couple of pics of the car before I shipped it: ![]() ![]() ![]() |

There's some businesses listed here. Personally I have used Link for parts and service and would recommend them. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=10543 |

I'm in in Southbank but the car is currently at a workshop in Bayswater. I have just got a 28 day unregistered permit so I can move the car around. Looking on Google maps I can see that Link Automotive are not too far from Bayswater so might make sense taking it there. I will give them a call today and see what they say. Cheers Darren |
