Hi All, Where would i get another of the copper(?) pipe that goes between the 2 wheel cylinders in a drum brake setup? Also, we had to cut off one of the cylinder because the small bolt was rounded off, where would i get a replacement for that small bolt? Thanks! |

The pipe will be steel. Just take it to any brake shop who will be able to swage you up a new one. Take the old pipe with you to get the right length. They will also have the correct fittings. You can bend it to the right shape with your fingers. The pipe is not hard to bend, but won't collapse if you play it by ear and bend it carefully. |

Which bolt in particular are we speaking of? The hex fitting on the end of the pipe or an actual bolt? |

The bolt that fixes the wheel cylinder to the backing plate. There are 2 on each cylinder. A big one and a small one I need the smaller one |

Minispares says they're 1/4UNF x 3/8ths long. Should be able to get a similar length from a bolt rack. Perhaps cut it down with a hacksaw to get it to the right length if they're a little long. http://www.minispares.com/product/classic/SH604031.aspx |

Thats funny. Its supposed to be the same bolt as attaches the cowl to the radiator. Just replaced the radiator, so I should have 6 spares. |
