Hi I'm currently rebuilding my front subframe , I noticed my lower control arms threads were damaged and so can't put the nut back on , I've got a couple of spare arms but they are slightly different though the replacement arms I've got have a lip , there is a bit of a gap where the lip and subframe meet , just wondering if they are going to be ok to use or not?
Cheers

The one on the left in the top pic looks like some sort of modded home job.
It's still probably okay for use.

The one on the left is standard Mini, the other one I suspect is early 850 (if the bolt is straight, as looks in the pic).
It is pretty normal for the flange to have a gap as shown. The flange aligns the bent type pivot bolt & stops it from turning, it has no other purpose.

they`re all bent to clear the axles

& the early one is without the flange , the later type with the flange
