Hi all,

It has been some time since I've been here, or worked on my mini. I have to replace my primary gear oil seal, and need to pull out the primary gear. Does anyone have a primary gear removal tool and the seal installation tool to stop the splines wrecking my new seal again tha they feel like lending for a few hours?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards, Ray.

Welcome back ray. Good to see another perth user.

Cant help you out tho sorry. Nit sur what the tools look like but could you not wrap electrical tape over the splines and use plenty of grease to put the seal in.

I use a 3 leg puller to remove the primary gear + seal in situ.
I thinned the feet of the legs 3 down to grip in behind the splines, and I put a thick cable tie round them before winding it out.
