Hey everyone Just after an idea here - i have a couple of drum backing plates setup ready to install on my mini. Ive noted you have to remove the rear outer hub but are the existing bearings reused / touched/ removed at all ? Should i replace the rear bearings ? Thinking of ordering them with the next UK shipment if need be Whats the basic process ? Thanks ! |

Yes the bearing will need to come off with the hub. They usually come off without a drama. If they come off without a fight, and are carefully removed and replaced in the same order and without any dirt, then they will be perfectly fine. If you need to remove the bearing with a puller or using a drift, then you should replace it. |

I like to wash them in turps and repack them with new grease... |
