A yellow (and maybe white roof?) MK II Cooper S sold during the last month or so for around $27,000. I'm pretty sure it was on eBay. Does anyone have a link to the advert?

I went and took a look at that Camino Gold Mk2 before it sold on ebay late August '13. The owner gave me permission to take some pictures.

It looked to be a nice original car with a recent 2-pak external respray. Also the white interior to me was unusual, as I've seen mostly black interiors.

Did you notice what size SU's were fitted? They look like 1 1/4" from the photo. I alerted the seller to some features that might indicate a Police specification vehicle, such as the handbrake warning light. It should have 1 1/2" SU's, and the air cleaner and PCV are not correct if this is the case. Also I've never seen a white interior in a Police Cooper S, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

P.S. It's a bit low on clutch fluid.

They were definitely 1 1/4 SU's fitted.

It also appeared to have factory rear seat belts, and when I took it for a drive the driver's seat was definitely a bit lower than standard Mk2 seat height. 2-speed wipers as well.
