Looks even better in real life... I've seen one in pieces, not assembled and running. But very nice in pieces. |

So... (he asked nonchalantly) How many ports does a regular A-Series engine have? The kit says 5-port, and I couldn't find how many they had through some quick googling (though I did find several 7-port heads for sale). |

A tradtional mini has a 5 port head, two inlets and three exhaust, you can get 7 or 8 port aftermarket heads which do have much better air flow rates so the car breathes eaiser and makes more power. This EFI kit is simular to the Rover EFI systems (basicly the only way to EFI a 5 port mini) but this is designed for power increases unlike the std Rover EFI systems were for pollution control mainly. |
