Hi all,

We are planning to spend Christmas/New year on the other side of the world this year. What are the must do mini related places to see while there. Museums, shops, factories etc

Cheers
Ryan

It depends where you're going.
The calendars in the uk mini magazines have all the big events in them.

The IMM is the one to go to, but wont be on when your over there. Mini in the Park is also great.

Gayden holds the first and last minis produced as well as the minki (The potential rover mini replacement that looks like a classic mini but slightly bigger, but got rejected for the current BINI :'( )

Buy a mini-world magazine and it will fill you in on all the mini gatherings. The large mini orgs usually have stands there also, but would still love to visit mini spares.

I would look into seeing if the heritage factory (where they make classic mini panels and bodies) is running and see if I could get a tour.

I agree with Brett, Oxford Mini factory is really good and include the British Heritage Centre in Gaydon. 40 miles from Oxford. Both easily done in one day.
