So while I was on exchange over in Europe I bought new mini rubbers for my leyland, and as it turns out they are both the same shape and size, so I think they are both front ones?

Bit of a mistake from the sellers end ...Well, I can't do anything now, so does anyone have a spare rear windscreen rubber to straight swap for my spare front one? I don't really want to cut it to size and ruin it.......

Im in Adelaide

Thankyou!!!

That's interesting, never realised.....bummer. Well yes the offer/swap still stands, the rubber is suitable for front windscreen. It's brand new, so if I can get $60 for it, might put it in for sale section.....

The ones I bought for mine were the same size I think. And I needed to cut both down anyway.
So it didnt really make any difference.

Oh really? could you tell me how you did it exactly? what happens where you join it together? Some sort of rubber glue?
We did an 850 couple years back, didnt need to cut anything down.....

Cut the ends clean, use Selleys Superglue.

And where do you recommend putting the actual join in relation to the window frame? Top or on bottom?
Also put the chrome insert strip ends with joiner in the same spot or on opposite side?

When I cut my windscreen rubber I cut the straight and a bit longer than you think because you don't want it to be too short once the windscreen is in I put both the locking strip join and windscreen cut in the same spot at the top.
