Hi would any one have a picture of the right hand inner guard of a mini clubman.
I am trying to figure out where the solinode fits.

I have a new loom and the wires appear short.

All the clubmans I ever had have the solenoud bolted on the clutch housing.

If you have a late clubman with a rod change box, the solenoid attaches to the right had side engine steady bracket. The bracket doubles as part of the engine steady and the solenoid mount.

Have a look here, you can see where the two wires go from the solenoid - it sticks out a little from the engine:
