I'm trying to change my Avatar and for the life of me I cant get it down to the required 9kb, I can get it to 10.1kb but no smaller what does the percentage and pixels have to be to get it to 9kb or lower seems some users have way oversize avatars..

I think it's 100 pixels square should be enough to get it down.

You can try a different file format if that works? .png are really small on memory size, otherwise you could try a different compression level on your .jpg file?
