lol.....been down this road before. by the time you add postage and taxes, plus buying the item, you might as well buy here. Porbably cost less to buy here AND you get to see what you are buying.

they probably need a kit through them AND new rotors!!

i got quoted 70ukp december last year for a similar setup. add 20p for the brakes and your looking at 236.901 AUD all up!! you cant even get the hubs over here for that. even if they do need to be kitted your got yourself new brakes for a mini under $300 :D

lol...i was watching the auction.

I agree totally...it was never going to be a bargain. Maybe a tad cheaper than buying here but you buy unseen. I have been stung from ebay before. As someone said, they probably did need a kit and those discs looked stepped anyway.

But...to the guy who alerted us to the auction - THANKS for keeping an eye out for us all.

They went so high for the usual reason, the same thing often happens. Look at all the top bidders - they're all Aussies. They probably read this post and went on a pointless bidding war.

People in general tend to get excited from low starting prices on Ebay, even if there are six days left to the auction. It really makes no difference what the starting price is I reckon coz unless you made a typo in your listing, free market rules take over and the real price is usualy met - the low starting price usualy makes people bid even higher as it attracts so much interest and people start competing against each other in the final stages of the auction bidding more than they would have otherwise.

they are back on ebay again. I emailed the guy and he said the winner was an aussie but he got the postage wrong.

Postage to OZ is 180 pound!! Plus 90 pound for the discs....thats a freakin big price for discs that need rebuilding!!

Wouldn't ya love to have UK prices here in OZ.....

180 pound!! whats he posting with a concord jet or something. Should be around 50 pound shipping for boxs upto 20kg on a plane. by boat then you can get it for around 30 pounds but expect to wait 1or 2 months for it.
